What browser are you using? Are there any errors in the developer console?

Google chrome
There are so many sound and music glitches, that hurt my ears.
Tell me your browsers and operating systems.
Post your console output. Post screenshots!
To open the developer console on Google Chrome, press Ctrl-Shift-I (capital i).
For me it didn't work with IE 11 but it worked fine with Firefox 75.0
Somehow this in-browser-version feels different to manoeuvre... it seemed to me as if the floor is being tilted very easily here and responds in a much more sensitive way (hence it's a bit harder to control the ball)
It doesn't use your local Neverball settings. In fact, it can't, since it runs in the browser sandbox. Could the difference in control arise simply from different settings?

If my settings are different then it's most likely the reason
I thought you used some custom neverballrc options to restore pre-1.6 tilt responsiveness? Could that be it? Those are currently not exposed for editing in the browser. Or perhaps I am just mixing you up with another Neverballer?

True, I was complaining that "the feel" is different when 1.6 came out but I never used specific customized options. So I'm not the one
Been playing this on my phone (no sound, fullscreen) Firefox Mobile is a little too laggy, but Google Chrome and Samsung Internet are providing very smooth framerates. Just finished Neverball Hard! It was actually hard. The touch controls provide a nice a learning curve.

When I click this button "Play now!", then settings and about is still visible! It requires hidden text element except canvas-element.
