Re: OLD NEVERBALL VERSIONS

There is no cheat mode in Neverball 1.4.0. You have to manually edit the score file.

Re: OLD NEVERBALL VERSIONS

i donot know that much abt this type of prob, but i think it has to do with the data folder. you might want to make sure you have extracted everything in the .zip or wutever archive file, which includes downloading all of the background texture image files folders. maybe you extracted a bit of the archive file, and then i guess nb 1.4.0 would not be able 2 detect the rest b/c i guess it doesnot have the ".zip file auto-detect" feature. this is like when you place a .zip file for a lvlset or a custom texture pack, and as long as you have the folders configured correctly nb detects the things

Re: OLD NEVERBALL VERSIONS

i have hardly used played nb 1.4.0, but in windows i think you owuld put the file ".neverball" in one of the folders in AppData. i do not really know why .neverball would be in the data folder, tho

Re: OLD NEVERBALL VERSIONS

Where is AppData? I suspect it had to do with the .neverball folder, but I tried putting it in Documents/My Games and it still didn't work.

I think I might have to get the source code and compile it from GitHub. The only problem is I don't know how to compile the source code. sad

Re: OLD NEVERBALL VERSIONS

older neverball versions (prior 1.6.0) stored all relevant user based game data (including replays) in the application data folder, just type
%appdata%
in windows search, guess it's the fastest way to go there

Cheers

Re: OLD NEVERBALL VERSIONS

How do you compile the source code from GitHub? Because I put the .neverball folder in AppData, and it STILL doesn't work.

but then [again], i do have more posts than dtb and kurappu wutotherusersoffthetopofmyhead, dtb has been registered only a yr less than i have been

EDIT: this post kinda goes with my "decade approaching" thread in IwannaFlOOd smile

Re: OLD NEVERBALL VERSIONS

I believe Neverball 1.4.0 for Windows did not even use APPDATA. Thus, it simply makes .neverball within the main directory.
