hi,
I just revisited tones levels and started a new personal competition - so my new aim is to catch all coins in every single level... I just wanted to know whether some of you have already tried to get all coins in a certain level of tones current set and perhaps could give me some feedback, opinions, etc.
I think that it definitely IS possible to get all the coins in tones levels (with the exception of bonus level III)

@dtb, That's a good observation about the skiball level. I hadn't realized that.
Although, regardless of which goal you use, the score is the same.
Bonus level I will be challenging I think.
And I don't believe I have collected all coins in Bonus II. My intention is for it to be possible.
your challenge will help me determine whether a time adjustment is needed!
I made good progress tonight and already was able to obtain all coins in the following levels: 1-7, 10, 12, 15, I, IV (and of course - the inevitable 250 coins in bonus III)
Here's some feedback for you tones:
1, 4, 15, III - easygoing
6, 10, I - still no problem, but more concentration required
3, 5, 12, IV - a respectable challenge
2, 7 - both exacting flawless timing (one unintentional bump and you're out)
I already got all the coins (42) in bonus II but didn't reach the goal in time - it's hard but surely possible - I just need to improve my jump to the big glass platform; it's still much too steeply rising

update: only 3 more levels on my list (8, 9, 11), enclosed is my replay of bonus II with all coins, if you want to see other replays just ask
by the way - there are only 189 coins in level 16 and a total of 81 coins in level 14, right?

no, not really much room - tonight I've tried to achieve a better time for bonus II but it got even tighter in the end D: see replay...
update: just completed level 8 (funny thing is that the first thwomp obviously didn't want to let me pass by, it took me 3 punches to beat it down :doh: )
so, only 9 & 11 left
let's see...
update: level no. 11 wasn't as hard as I thought it would be... so only no. 9 missing and by now I can already say that I'm not good at surfing...
damn, still no progress with level no. 9 - anybody got all coins here?
meanwhile here are some replays - no. I and no. II (unlocked in less than 40 sec.)

famous last update (for this thread):
by now I've improved my jumping-ability a lot and can leap directly into level II's faraway-goal (see replay II_06)and whilst jumping around in such a great manner I could also beat my best time for collecting all coins here (see II_04) - so, tones, I think you should already consider reducing the timer of II to 1:25 ;-)
finally I got all coins in level 9 too - after about 6 consecutive listenings to the beach boys' rather mellow surf's up (which I thought would be the appropriate accompaniment for a level of the same name), so, by now I've managed to obtain all coins in all of tones' levels - quod erat d.

I didn't post replays for all of tones' levels in the first place. As I mentioned before - just ask if you want to see others. Enclosed is my replay of tones' IV which I did last year (IV_02) and tonight, after watching your replay which has got such a very good time, I just had to made another one (IV_03)

Extremely quick time getting all coins in City.
After all this time, I finally got all coins in this level! The only level to get all coins is Check.

I think Check is not as hard as Bigtube it only takes much longer. But actually there are no real hard-to-get-coins in Check. Waves gave me the hardest time and took me the longest while to grab 'em all...

About Check, it's the last red coin in mid air that gives me hard time.

To grab the last red coin up in the air just accelerate moderately (don't go full speed) until you start jumping - you can even try it several times, applying more and more momentum until you can reach it, it really isn't that hard, here's my replay which you already know I guess:

yes, but for a long time dtb had lots more posts than i. i think the reason for me getting more posts than either of you guys is lots of relatively short posts, and because it seems dtb had been away from the forum for a while :?
