Topic: How to make a clockwork level?

So in my set I have some levels that would be better with clocks in them. However, my NetRadiant is set up for the old non-clockwork building. What do I need to change to be able to instead make clockwork levels? And if I do so, do I need to change anything about my levels (e.g. parameters in the worldspawn or texture settings)?

Insert an entity. (example, info_camp.) Go to the classname part, replace what it says (info_camp), and type "item_clock" and press enter. Now you have a clock! smile

To make the time, put "light" at the top bar, and put either 5, 15, or 30 on the bottom.

Hope this helps. Can't wait to see your levels! smile

Re: How to make a clockwork level?

I have a customized GamePack that allows these items to be added more easily. If memory serves, it is included in the binary package, and you can also find it on GitHub.

CSY: How would I add that in? Also the "entities" file I saw on GitHub does not appear to list "item_clock", and many of the colors are weird, including for item_clock. And my main problem is getting it to compile correctly. Does the clockwork compiler do anything that prevents it from being used for a non-clockwork level? (I will make a non-clockwork and a clockwork set.)

I don't see the point in making a non-clockwork version now that pretty much everyone on the forum has the clocks working on their Neverball.

Re: How to make a clockwork level?

The specific file I changed is entities.ent. Just replace (neverball.game/data/)entities.ent, and you should see the clock item now.
