Topic: Making a size puzzle -- need to create cheat-proof bridges
So this will eventually be a puzzle level involving changing the ball size at the correct moments (think Hard Bonus V). However, I have a problem. It is possible to "cheat" by gaining speed and jumping platforms that you are not supposed to be able to cross, like I did in the replay. The bridge is designed to prevent a small ball from passing through yet I was able to get to and stay on the platform.
Other variations sometimes cause the medium and/or large balls to lose their balance and fall sideways, even at somewhat moderate speeds. You should not have to slow to a crawl before entering and exiting a bridge.
What I need is a cheat-proof system for only allowing the size(s) that I want to be able to cross the bridges that does not look extremely ugly and thrown-together. Cheat-proof includes disallowing tricks like a medium ball getting up to speed on a medium rail and edge-jumping to bypass a large rail.
(Ideas for how to create it would be preferred to just uploading a .map file with everything ready to use... I want to learn from this, after all.)
