After reading this, I'm still confused. hmm If Diamond Trail is too hard to be a last regular level nor a bonus level, what's going to happen to it? Is it going to be a regular level but not the last level?

yes, i would make Diamond Trail maybe a midway regular lvl. also, regardless of the difficulty i would not make it a bonus lvl b/c of the feeling or your could say the style of the lvl. it is a largely linear lvl, not exactly having a "exciting special bonus feature" feeling in the lvl.

@kodebreaker: i am trying to watch your replay of Balancing'n'Bouncing. i try making a temporary copy of my main set and putting the .sol file for the lvl as the 9th lvl, but i still cannot watch the replay sad

I'm sorry, I completely forgot until you mentioned this. I renamed the Balance Bump map to "balancebump" to simplify it. When I uploaded the replay I completely forgot I changed the name of the .Map file.

so this means i think i will have 2 rename the .map file and then re-compile the lvl. then try the replay with the new .sol file

i was able 2 play your replay of balancing'n'bouncing by downloading the .zip file attached in 1st pst, downloading the .map file for the lvl in my other thread, renaming the .map file, re-compiling the lvl, and making it the 9th regular lvl in the set

you easily could have attempted the part after the goal. it takes practice, but you can do it

I could try to do the teleporter part.

Also, you don't need to make a copy of the levelset and everything to view the replay. I'll rename the balancebump map to what it was before, but I found out that as long as have the .map or .sol file in Neverball, the replay file will be playable.

good to know smile         but i donot think you need the .map file to view the replay

also the date in the filenames of the .map and .sol file for balancebump, i am only 80-95% sure how i will deal wiht having these version dates for my lvls in the future. to make it easier to view replays of diff verions of the lvl, i might make all .map files of the same lvl not have the date in the filename and instead add some custom date attribute in the .map files of diff verisions of the same lvl. if i use an attribute (or is it called property) not listed in the nb mapping documentation, hopeuflly mapc and/or nb will not care   . also i doubt this owuld be really necessary or it might just make things say the nb programming more complicated than needed, but wut if you could type an option in the set .txt file of your lvlset. then this option would cuase it to ignore a date in the filename as i type it. then nb would treat each version of the lvl with a diff date in the filename as having the same filename, and i could add the version dates into verions of my lvls and people you people could still veiw the replays of the diff versions easily

a bit of this pst could go in the ideasandsuggestions category of the forum, the option to have nb ignore the verion dates of lvls
