With yet more renewed energy at my disposal, I have released a few more enhancements to the Clockwork project, now at version 1.6.0.3.

-- Changes that are exclusive to the Clockwork build --
* Dragon Slope has been rebuilt from scratch and is now known as Dragon Slayer. This level is monstrous in complexity!
* Camera updates to Telepuzzle, and Intermediate
* Crosses's time limit increased (from 60.00 to 80.00)
* New levels! Instability and Rotation Puzzle are now available to play
* Clockwork Beta's level structure reverted to the traditional progression system (assuming it was a full set)

-- Changes that were introduced in Clockwork Remix (updated June 1, 2015) --
* Camera updates to Giant Neverball, Tiny Neverball
* One of Invisible Road's visible platforms has expanded in size, reducing it's difficulty. A new platform with a new coin was also introduced
* Jump Mastery has gained a few rails around the goal. The trimming was also redone
* Web Tree has had it's hawk ramps altered cosmetically to look neater, in addition to revised trimming. The structure remains unchanged
* Faster flipper movement for the level Pinball

Well done, CSY!
Love the new levels, especially Bonus Level III (ok, it's not all new to me) and IV - in fact I honestly think that IV (Rotation puzzle) is one of the best new levels in a long time. Almost as good as Dance Dance Neverball (DDN) which is still my favourite of yours, and guess what? I got so enthusiastic while playing your sets again, I even broke my record for it cool

I think you should definitely consider including III + IV in the next "Remix" set. The following I like best:
ALPHA: 3, I, 5, II, 13, 16, IV, 19
BETA: 8, II, 9, 12, III, 13, IV, 18

Thanks for the kind remarks.

It took quite some time to get these new levels working to my own satisfaction. Even now, something does not feel quite right about the level, Rotation Puzzle.

For a level in Clockwork Beta, I feel that Rotation Puzzle is a bit too easy at this time. Unfortunately, I could not figure out which bonus level from Clockwork Alpha to swap with this one...

Alternatively, I can just leave it where it is. I might be able to come up with ideas to further improve the level, hopefully making it harder in the process.

As far as remix sets are concerned, it is unlikely for me to do a second full remix set at this time.

It is good to be back in this service. Here is recap of  what happened, while Neverforum was offline.

  • Clockwork Beta has been completed, making 50 playable levels throughout Project Clockwork. Newest levels: Seesaws, Furious Disks, and Koan (bonus)

  • Clockwork Remix has been synchronized to accommodate Project Clockwork's changes

  • Puttworks courses (not part of Project Clockwork) have received a maintenance update to improve the camera system

Overall, it is nice to be back. Now, I need to fix my MinGW installation. I broke it trying to install libintl libraries.

These are some awesome levels CSY! They’re really fun, colorful, and really good in design. I’m really loving RotationPuz, Furious Hoops, and Koan. I just love the clock concept! Great work! smile

Thanks a bunch. This gives me a good push to see if I can potentially get this included in the next release.

With a difficult trial having ended releasing recently, now might be a good time to try to redo MinGW.

Sweet! I had trouble figuring out how to design this decal (almost) exactly like the classic coin pads, so thanks for the offer.

It is quite nice, although it is worth pointing out that the color of the decal is slightly darker (FF00FF) than the color of the item (FF80FF). Primarily, it is something I should keep in mind whether I should add this texture to my fork.

Sure. Just keep in mind that any levels you design with this item will not work correctly in official builds if compiled with the mapc that is included in the Clockwork build.
(naturally, they will be ignored if compiled in the official mapc)

Eventually, I want to try and see where this sub-project should be improved, such that it can be included in the official code.

I have an idea for new clock colors in Neverball Clockwork 1.6.0.5

Pink = 5 seconds
Turquoise = 15 seconds
Metallic Green = 30 seconds

@mrko: i might use these purple textures too. did you use something like the colorizer tool in gimp or a similar tool in photoshop? (i donot have photoshop). i have a feel it did not take you very long to make these textures

Yeah, that secret to the level Clockwork is primarily intended as a frustration reducer, allowing people who still are struggling with the hand to earn 0:20 extra time.

The pathway opens on its own once 0:45 have passed.

    I do not get it. What is the secret? I watched the entire replay twice, but all of it seems to be the intended method of beating the level.

If you enter the teleporters from the back, the glass platforms put up. If you enter the teleporters from the front or sides, they do not pop up. It took me a long time to find that out. I didn't even know you could do that.

The glass platforms should be popping up regardless of what side you are entering from. If they do not, then something is wrong.

I opened the map in Radiant and I found out what was wrong. The teleporter with the halfpipes work fine, but I found out that the target_teleporter on the red platform isn't fit on the 8x8 grid correctly. Making it only possible for the glass platform to pop up from the back.
